Can I cancel my project request?

Yes. You can cancel your request at any time before accepting a freelancer’s quote.

How do I cancel a request?

1. Go to the Storetasker homepage.

2. Select “View Dashboard” in the top-right corner.

   • On mobile, this option appears in the drop-down menu.

3. Locate the request you submitted.

4. Under “Other Options” on the right-hand side, click “Cancel Project.”

Can I edit my request instead of canceling it?

Yes. From your Dashboard, you can:

• Edit details in your request.

• Add more information to help with the expert-matching process.

What if I already accepted a freelancer’s quote?

• If a quote has already been accepted, cancellation must be handled directly with your hired freelancer.

• The freelancer is best equipped to discuss the status of the work and resolve next steps.

• In some cases, partial payment may be appropriate if work has already started.
