How do I submit a new request for freelance help?

To submit a new request:

  1. Go to the Storetasker homepage.

  2. Select “Start a Project” in the top-right corner (on mobile, this option is in the menu at the top right).

  3. Provide details about your project request and your preferred method of contact (email or text).

Once submitted, you’ll be introduced to a freelancer. The freelancer will reach out to you directly via your preferred communication method to begin your project.


Where can I find the “Start a Project” button?

  • On desktop: Top right corner of the Storetasker homepage.

  • On mobile: Open the menu in the top right corner; the “Start a Project” option will be there.


What happens after I submit my request?

  • You will be matched and introduced to a freelancer.

  • The freelancer will contact you by email or text message, depending on your preference.

  • You can then begin discussing project details and next steps directly with the freelancer.


Can I contact freelancers I’ve already worked with?

Yes. If you are logged into your account:

  1. Click “View Dashboard.”

  2. From your dashboard, you can:

    • Reach out to any expert you’ve already been introduced to.

    • Select “Hire Another Expert” to add a new freelancer to your team.


Can I hire more than one freelancer?

Yes. From your dashboard, choose “Hire Another Expert.” This allows you to bring in additional freelancers for separate tasks or to build out a team.


Pro tip: Always make sure you’re logged in to your account for the fastest access to your existing experts and the option to expand your team.
