Who determines the price for a project or retainer?

Project and retainer prices are set directly by the freelance experts in the Storetasker network. The expert you choose to hire will define the price based on your project scope and needs.

How will I receive a project quote?

• After discussing your project scope and requirements, the expert will prepare a quote.

• The quote is typically sent to you via email.

What is included in a project quote?

Typically, a quote will contain:

• A detailed scope of work

• Notes on process and approach

• An estimated timeline

• The project or retainer price

• Any other important details discussed between you and the expert

Is there a Storetasker platform fee?

Yes. In addition to the expert’s price, you may see a 3.5% Storetasker fee on your quote. This fee helps maintain and improve the Storetasker platform and expert network. If you have a Pro account, the fee is waived. 

Can I ask questions about my quote?

Absolutely. Each expert is happy to walk you through their quote and explain any details. If anything is unclear, simply ask your expert for clarification.
