How it Works

Retainers are discussed, scoped, and quoted directly between you and the Expert who you’ve decided to hire. Almost all Experts in the Storetasker network are happy to offer a retainer - just ask! The scope of the retainer will be custom made for you, and managed directly by your expert per month.

Pricing

A retainer is quoted directly by each expert in the network - just like projects. You’ll quote the monthly recurring cost, what’s included, and how to handle work that may fall outside of the monthly arrangement.

📌 Typically, experts in the network will offer a slightly lower hourly rate for retainer work since it’s guaranteed work

Shopify Development Retainer

Monthly Shopify Development - $1,900

• Monthly Shopify development & consulting work across two sites

Process:

• Shared Google Sheet will be created to track time usage
• Larger requests will go through a more formal estimate/approval process

Terms:

• 20hr monthly retainer
• Any approved overages will be billed separately at the end of the month

UI/UX Design Retainer

Monthly Design Engagement -2,500 / Month

Scope

• Support all website, email, and paid media design needs on a monthly basis.
• Monthly planning call to coordinate the roadmap
• Including: design new landing pages, updates to the PDPs, new Klaviyo marketing email templates, etc.

E-comm Growth Marketer

Monthly Design Engagement -2,500 / Month

Scope

• Support all website, email, and paid media design needs on a monthly basis.
• Monthly planning call to coordinate the roadmap
• Including: design new landing pages, updates to the PDPs, new Klaviyo marketing email templates, etc.

E-comm management Retainer

Technical PM - $1,500 / Month

Scope

• Manage external dev and designers efficiently and within budget
• QA work done by agencies and freelancers
• Follow from start to finish the development of new features on Shopify
• Communicate efficiently with cross-functional teams to keep everyone aware of changes/updates happening on site
• Setup AB tests via Google Optimize
• Make sure all apps, Shopify store, Amazon store are working perfectly without any bugs and issues.

Additional notes

• A monthly report will be included of how retainer hours were spent, as well as any additional ideas of how we can continue to improve both the role and the business.
